KJ Aquatics teaches in small groups with a maximum 4:1 student-to-instructor ratio, which gives every swimmer focused attention and consistent correction. All instructors are certified, experienced, and personally trained to meet KJ’s teaching standards. This approach makes our Toronto swim lessons more personalized and effective than typical large-group programs.
We don’t offer refunds for missed or cancelled lessons. When you cancel or reschedule with at least 24 hours’ notice, you may receive a make-up class or account credit, subject to availability. The credit must be used within one month of the original cancellation date unless management approves an exception. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice, no-shows, and missed make-up classes are forfeited without a refund or credit.
Please call or text 647-692-0161 or email info@kjaquatics.com at least 24 hours before the lesson. When enough notice is provided, we can cancel the affected classes and may offer a make-up class or account credit under our cancellation policy.
Yes. Your child can still join the lesson after it has started, but the class will end at the originally scheduled time.
Our Parent and Tot program is available for babies from three to 24 months old. A parent or authorized caregiver stays in the water with the baby throughout the 30-minute small-group lesson. Through songs, repetition, play, and short activities, instructors introduce safe holds, supported floating, buoyancy, breath awareness, balance, kicking, and early water-safety skills. There is no additional fee for the participating caregiver.
Toddlers can participate in our Parent and Tot program until 24 months old, with a parent or authorized caregiver joining them in the water. Lessons use songs, play, repetition, and age-appropriate activities to develop water comfort, supported floating, balance, kicking, breath awareness, and early swimming skills. As children get older and become ready to swim without a caregiver, they can move into the Preschool program for children ages three to five.
Children’s swim lessons help students build confidence, water-safety awareness, and swimming skills at a pace that suits their age and current ability. Lessons may include breath control, floating, body position, kicking, stroke development, endurance, and other skills based on the child’s experience and goals.
We offer swim lessons for teens, adults, and seniors, including complete beginners, swimmers who are afraid of the water, and those who have had negative swimming experiences in the past. Adult lessons are available in small groups and may cover water comfort, breath control, floating, body position, basic strokes, and water safety. Instructors can adjust the pace based on each swimmer’s comfort level, mobility, stamina, experience, and personal goals.
Please bring a swimsuit, towel, and swim diapers when required. We provide the equipment used during lessons, including goggles, flutter boards, noodles, toys, and other training equipment.
Yes. Parents and family members can watch from our viewing area. Another authorized adult may bring your child to class, and an authorized caregiver can participate in the water during Parent and Tot lessons instead of the child’s parent.

Payment is due in full during registration to confirm your lesson dates, so payment can’t be made when you arrive for class. Lessons are billed monthly, and the card on file is automatically charged around the 20th of each month for the following month. A standard monthly payment covers four lessons, although the amount may be adjusted when a month contains a different number of lesson weeks. New students are charged based on the number of classes remaining in the month when they register.
